The real estate industry in India has grown leaps and bounds in the last 15 odd years. Be it buying & selling of land and apartments, it is all gradually migrating to the online market place. The government has also introduced regulatory norms to reign in the industry.
It wouldn’t be wrong to say that the industry has been revolutionized by the advent of the Internet. The Internet has become one of the key lead generators, open field for real estate marketing, gradually eclipsing traditional methods like print & news media. With almost 530 million Indians having access to the Internet it is only natural that they look for housing options online. Bearing this in mind, real estate companies have been creating web portals that virtually cater to every single housing needs of an individual/corporate.
So, basically your need for property depends on your kind of requirements – is it
• for commercial purposes or
• for residential purposes.
COMMERCIAL
Your requirement for commercial property would be to serve as:
• Offices
• Godowns
• Factory
• Studio and so on
You can search for ideal commercial property of your choice and budget at following website portals:
1. 99Acres
99Acres is one of India’s most popular and premier real estate portals for buying, selling, renting & leasing properties, with the resale of properties being their USP. They have quite an extensive database, the user interface is fairly engaging as well.
2. MagicBricks
MagicBricks has been one of the fastest growing online portals in the country. They specialize in buying & renting of properties. They too have an extensive database for buying and leasing but I wasn’t too happy with their reselling capabilities.
3. BangaloreOffice
This portal caters to every need of your commercial office space search in Bangalore. Here you can find details of office spaces like location, size and pictures. They are specialized in all kinds of office space services and can provide offices as per team size and budgets.
Their strengths include capable of dealing with individuals at all level, having a strong relationship with leading developers of Bangalore and experienced transactional team having knowledge of the local office space market.
4. Officeshub
This is the gateway to find grade A office spaces with specific locations with maps andpictures of office space. You will be provided with contact details of the executives to know about the prices and negotiability in detail.
5. OLX
OLX manages the largest online classifieds sections. It is popular among home renters and buyers as well. What I like about OLX is the continuous updating of their listings which means visitors have that many more options to go through in the real estate space.
RESIDENTIAL
For residential purposes, you need good to look at accommodation that is spacious enough for all members of your family. However, if this condition is satisfied, you also want to avoid expensive accommodation!
6. NoBroker
As the name suggests, the USP of this portal is the exclusion of brokers/middlemen from the equation of property dealings. It brings the landlord and the customer directly in contact thereby, eliminating the additional expense of brokerage.
This is particularly helpful for people who have recently moved into a city or those who have just started working. Brokerages are particularly high in the metros with both the buyer and seller paying close to 2% of the transaction value. NoBroker claims to add on an average a million new customers every month.
7. IndiaProperty
If you wish to conduct elaborate property research this is the go-to online place. It offers a plethora of geographical information. The website is also gaining a lot of traction in the smaller cities like Nagpur, Kanpur, Cochin, etc.
8. Housing
Housing.com is more or less similar to IndiaProperty. They have a strong database with accurate data. Listings seem to be genuine which I believe increases the success rate of closing a business. Another important aspect of Housing.com is their reputation when it comes to buying property outside India.
9. CommonFloor
CommonFloor again is similar to Housing and IndiaProperty, specializing in buying and selling of properties. Its strength lies in property deals involved in metros like Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, etc.
10. Makaan
Makaanhas been around for quite some time now but hasn’t been able to join the major league like 99Acres and MagicBricks. The strength of Makaan is its extensive database of tier-ll cities like Pune and Hyderabad, otherwise, it’s pretty mediocre.
These were the top 10 real estate portals in India. All of the above portals have the facility to search based on location, price and type of property. All the listed properties have their photos uploaded as well which makes it easier for customers to decide with relative ease the property of their choice.
Note: Kindly do your own research first to understand the property better. This listing is only for the sake of your better understanding and not a form of endorsement.
