Top 10 Best Business Laptops in India
While day-to-day computing isn't much different from business computing, the business side of things demands more security, reliability and more customisability. Business machines can be upgraded to have more RAM and storage. Many of them have extra-secure fingerprint scanners and SIM card slots for mobile internet connectivity. They can also be managed and wiped remotely. So, do you have the right system for your startup or for your large multinational corporation? Well, if the answer is no, here are the machines you should be looking for. The laptops listed below are the best business laptops in India. So, whether you are looking for laptop for office use, or something more lightweight and portable, this should be a helpful shortlist.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (2018)

If you're already familiar with the ThinkPad X1 Yoga and are upgrading from last year's model, you may not find much to excite you in this year's model. However, if you're in the market for a convertible business laptop that can double up as a tablet for drawing and note-taking, the ThinkPad X1 Yoga is all you'll need. It has 8th-gen Intel Core series processors, 16GB RAM, and numerous NVMe SSD options. This machine is decked to the gills with clever features and performance is truly top-notch. Its hefty price may cause a pause for thought though.

Lenovo IdeaPad 530S

The new generation of Lenovo IdeaPads comes with a more mature design, classy look, and a dependable computing experience. Masthead of the 500-series of IdeaPads, the IdeaPad 530S scores very high on performance, display quality, build, and battery life. It also comes with an Nvidia MX150 GPU for occasional light gaming.

Lenovo ThinkPad X280

The latest in the X-series of ThinkPads, the X280 now comes with a single non-removable battery so it can have a thinner frame. It has the latest generation of Intel Core series CPUs, up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB SSD, and Rapid Charge. The new ThinkShutter feature ensures more privacy when you're not using the web camera.

Dell Latitude E5480

While you're out on business trips dropping presentations by the dozen, you might consider gaming to blow off some steam (see what we did there?) in between. The Dell Latitude E5570 laptop houses a discrete graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce 930MX) to push the extra pixels in your game along with the integrated GPU in 7th Gen Intel Core i7 processors. It also consists of high frequency DDR4 RAM running at 2400MHz with support for up to 32GB. It comes in two variants of a 1366x768 and 1920x1080 screen. They also offer a range of higher security solutions to ensure the integrity of your enterprise data.

HP Elitebook x360 1030 G2

If you need a touchscreen on your laptop for office use while packing powerful hardware inside, the Elitebook Folio series should do the job. It comes with 7th Gen Intel Core processors across all the three skews, enabled with Intel's vPro technology to support enterprise specific resources. The laptop has variants with internal storage of up to 512GB in SSD form factor running over 16GB of LPDDR3 of RAM. It has a 13.3-inch full HD screen. For ports, it includes one USB 3.1 Type-C ports with Thunderbolt support and two USB 3.1 ports, HDMI and even an microSIM slot.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon

The only difference between the X1 Carbon and Yoga is the 2-in-1 capability of the Yoga and the availability of OLED display option on the Yoga. The rest of the internal hardware are the same with the exception of the processor as the new 5th gen carbon only comes with Intel vPro processors. That being said, there is no performance difference and the 7th gen Intel processors take on all tasks with ease. You get up to 16GB of RAM and it can pack a massive 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD as well. It also offers the same amount of battery life on the Yoga, while maintaining the weight at around a kilo.

Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1

The Dell Latitude 7390 2-in-1 is a convertible laptop that deserves to be on your business laptop shortlist because of its ability to strike a fine balance between power and portability. The Latitude 7390 comes with optional accessories like the Dell Pen stylus, a USB-C port replicator, and a hybrid power adapter plus power bank.

HP Spectre Pro 13

Apart from buying a powerful business laptop, if you wish to own a premium looking laptop to carry around to your business meetings, you'd be delighted to have the Spectre Pro. Launched as the world's thinnest laptop, it packs the latest 6th Gen i7 processors from Intel with PCIe-based SSD storage (up to 256GB). It has a 13.3-inch screen with a 1920x1080 resolution running on 8GB of internal memory. Talking about the other premium features, it has a glass trackpad and the display is made from Gorilla Glass 4. The laptop has three USB Type-C ports that can be used for multiple functions such as charging, data transfer at higher speeds and external displays.

Apple MacBook Pro (2018)

The new Apple MacBook Pro comes with the latest generation of Intel's Core series CPUs. Like its smaller sister, the iPhone, it too features a True Tone display. The keyboard on the new model is designed to be less noisy. The Apple MacBook Pro is the creator's choice of laptop. The hefty price may cause one's brow to furrow though.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017)

The 2017 Microsoft Surface Pro might seem a little long in the tooth right now, but rest assured that it is a very capable machine, especially for those constantly on the move. To make it a complete package, you'll need to buy it with the Signature Type Cover keyboard and Surface Pen stylus. It's best with at least an Intel Core i5 CPU with 8GB of RAM.
