MS Dhoni experiments with his looks frequently, especially when it comes to his hairstyle, the former skipper is always up-to-date with it.
After a new hair cut on his birthday courtesy Hardik Pandya, Dhoni has now opted to go retro with his new hairstyle.
Dhoni is bringing back the good old V-hawk back into fashion and was recently spotted with the new hairstyle.
A Mumbai-based hair salon posted Dhoni's photos on their Instagram account.
Earlier this month, Dhoni's teammate Hardik Pandya decided to give him a special gift on Mahi's 37th birthday.
Pandya even shared a picture of Dhoni and him on Instagram. In the picture the 24-year-old could be seen giving the Ranchi cricketer a hair cut with a trimmer.
Pandya wrote: "Special day calls for a special haircut. Here's my birthday gift for the one and only @mahi7781. This stunt is performed by an expert, don't try this at home."
Dhoni celebrated his birthday after the second T20I between England and India. He was joined by his wife Sakshi, daughter Ziva and all the members of the Indian team in his hotel room in Bristol after the game.
Dhoni is currently enjoying some time off cricket after the limited-over series in England where he struggled with the bat throughout the ODI series.
After scoring 32 runs in the only match he got to bat in the T20I series, Dhoni struggled with his strike rate in the ODIs scoring just 79 runs in two innings at an average of 39.50 but at a paltry strike rate of 63.20, which is well below his career strike rate of 88.13 in the 50-over format.
Rumours of Dhoni's retirement from the sport also started doing the rounds after the series as Dhoni was seen asking the umpires for the match ball after the Leeds ODI that England won to clinch the three-match series 2-1.
Coach Ravi Shastri was asked the similar question and he rubbished the rumours in his typical style.
"MS wanted to show the ball to Bharat Arun. He wanted to show him the wear and tear the ball had endured, to get a general idea of what the conditions were like," Shastri was quoted as saying by the Times of India.
"That's rubbish. MS is not going anywhere," Shastri said.
Dhoni had retired from Test cricket in 2014 during the tour of Australia but continued to play the shorter formats. In a similar and sudden move, Dhoni then stepped down as India's limited-overs captain in January 2017.
