"Killing peoples for the name of 'gau bhakti' (cow worship) is not adequate," he said.
"This is not something Mahatma Gandhi would affirm," he included.
Stating that savagery is not an answer to any issue, the Prime Minister additionally said nobody has the privilege to take the law in his or her own particular delivers this country.
