Shimla: In what could be the most befitting approach to pay tribute to naib subedar Paramjit Singh, whose body was mutilated by Pakistani forces, a Himachal Pradesh-based couple has offered to take care of the 12-year-old little girl of the saint.
The naib subedar was killed close to the Line of Control (LoC) in Krishna Ghati zone of Poonch locale in Jammu and Kashmir on May 1 alongside Border Security Force trooper Prem Sagar and their bodies "ruined".
Yunus Khan, an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2010 group, and his significant other, Anjum Ara, an Indian Police Service officer of the 2011 cluster, have offered to take care of Khushdeep Kaur, revealed Hindustan Times.
The couple, who have a 4-year-old child, has reached the saint's significant other, Paramjit Kaur, and communicated their craving to deal with the costs of Khushdeep, right now the Class 7 understudy, from school till marriage.
"Khushdeep will keep on staying with her family. We will pay for every one of her costs and be meeting her now and again to think about her issues and settle them. On the off chance that she needs to wind up plainly an IAS or IPS officer or pick some other vocation, we are there to help," The Times of India cited Ara, SP of Solan region, as saying.
"My significant other and I will visit the soldier’s village in Punjab on Saturday. We have addressed the family. We need to construct the youngster's vocation. This is only a little commitment that we trust everyone ought to make for the nation and its kin," Hindustan Times cited Khan as saying.
