Super 30 First Look: A bearded Hrithik Roshan perfectly slips under the skin of mathematician Anand Kumar
After the ginormous success of Kaabil, Hrithik Roshan is all set to return to celluloid as mathematician Anand Kumar. In the film bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala, Madhu Mantena and Shibasish Sarkar, Hrithik shall slip under the skin of Bihar-based mathematician Anand Kumar. who rose to fame as the founder of the ‘Super 30’ program that grooms IIT aspirants. The actor kick-started the project in Mumbai on January 22 on the auspicious day of Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami. He had posted on the social media, “On the auspicious day of Saraswati Puja and Basant Panchami, I am beginning my journey of Super 30 where I am playing a teacher for the first time. May the Goddess of learning bless this effort.”
Duggu is all set to commence shooting in Varanasi on Tuesday. After wrapping up the Varanasi schedule, Hrithik will jet off to Bhopal while the last leg will be shot in Bihar's capital in May. However, Patna and other cities will be recreated in Mumbai for a major portion of the film will be shot on the set, reports Mumbai Mirror.
If a source quoted by Mirror is to be believed, director Vikas Bahl has already started working with set designers to recreate the three cities in Mumbai. Anand Kumar himself has had meetings with the team to ensure small details of all the places are included in the story, the source further informed.
Meanwhile, Hrithik has already met the mathematician and in an earlier interview with DNA, Roshan had said, "I had a very nice meeting with him. He’s a fantastic person. Apart from the movie, I have engaged in a lot of other conversations with him about his life. It’s an extremely inspirational journey.”
The Krrish actor had also mentioned to Dna that he loved solving maths problems as a kid. "I was pretty good at Mathematics as a kid. Unlike others, I used to love solving Maths problems.” He further added how his kids have inherited the same quality. “I don’t need to sit and teach Maths to my kids (Hrehaan and Hridhaan) because they are also very good at it.”
