9 Bollywood Star Daughters Who Didn’t Choose Acting As Their Career, Know What They Do!

Bollywood is India’s starry world, isn’t it? And when we talk about the generations of Bollywood, there’s one debate which is always hot and doesn’t seem to cool down ever – the debate over the existence of nepotism in the Bollywood industry. We’ve seen the paparazzi debate over it, as well as random political parties and die-hard fans. But have you wondered how taxing it must be to be a star kid in this millennial world?

Yes, the life is extraordinary; but every single moment of these star kids right from when they were born is captured by the paparazzi. They don’t get to play in the park with other kids as it’s considered unsafe. Once they reach the teenage years, they’re mostly sent abroad, away from their families and country to pursue college. And just when they are approaching graduation, the world starts to speculate whether or not these star kids will follow the footsteps of their parents and enter the tinsel town. While there are numerous of them who’ve followed the footsteps of their parents – Sonakshi Sinha, Soha Ali Khan, Alia Bhatt, Konkona Sen, Kajol, Karishma Kapoor, etc. there exists a handful of star kids who decided to do away from being an actor in B-town. They chose a profession for themselves and have also become very successful in it. Let’s have a look at some of these Bollywood star daughters.

1. Masaba Gupta

Masaba was born to a well-known cricketer Viv Richards and one of the evergreen actresses of the Bollywood industry, Neena Gupta. Born to this power couple, Masaba naturally experienced how being famous feels like. When it was time to choose a career, she chose to become a fashion designer instead. She definitely didn’t have it that easy in the fashion world. But with sheer hard work and dedication she owns a line of apparels and cosmetics which has turned her company’s net worth into millions.

2. Rhea Kapoor

She is the elder sister of actress/ fashionista Sonam Kapoor. Her father and her siblings both have their feet in tinsel town. But Rhea wanted to walk on a different road. She loves the world of styling and works as a stylist for many known personalities, including her own sister. She’s even produced a couple of Bollywood films but never considered acting in them.

3. Saba Ali Khan

The lesser-known sibling of the Pataudi clan, Saba chose to remain far away from the limelight. After studying Gemology, she took interest in jewelry designing and is a very renowned diamond jewelry designer today. She is also the caretaker of the Nawab Khandaan which is estimated to be worth INR 2700 crore.

4. Anshula Kapoor

She’s considered to be the shy Kapoor girl by many. Daughter of producer Boney Kapoor and sister to the macho Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, Anshula is loved by everybody for her cuteness. Many don’t know that Anshula is apparently a geek. Well, she has to be as she’s an ex-Google employee. And currently she works as the operations manager at HRX, an apparel brand run by Hrithik Roshan.

5. Shaheen Bhatt

She’s the elder sister to the ever-bubbly Alia Bhatt. Shaheen decided to be the woman behind the scenes and studied film-making in London. She has co-written movies like Son of Sardaar and worked as an assistant director for Raaz 3. She even runs an initiative called “Here comes the sun” that encourages conversations around depression and anxiety.
