Baahubali Becomes The First Non-English Film To Be Screened At Royal Albert Hall, Gets Standing Ovation In London

Was Baahubali just a movie? No, it was a phenomenon. When Baahubali: The Beginning had released in 2015, it created frenzy among fans all over the nation. Changing the face of regional cinema in India, it grossed Rs 650 crores worldwide.

 
 

The film broke several records when it had released, and now it seems SS Rajamouli’s impact has reached London too.
 
Baahubali: The Beginning was the first non-English film ever to be screened at Royal Albert Museum since its inauguration 148 years ago.
 
The movie was screened on Oct 19. “TheMIGHT , TheMAJESTY, TheMAHISHMATI!!” Rana had written on Instagram sharing a glimpse.

And during the screening of the movie, its star cast Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati among others received standing ovation from the audiences.
 

 
 

What’s more? The movie's epic score which was composed by MM Keeravani was also performed live by the philharmonic concert orchestra during the screening.
 
 
Rajamouli saw a frenzy of fans there. In a video, which has gone viral, he can be seen surrounded by fan who couldn’t contain there excitement.
 
“Excited Baahubali lovers from Japan who came to watch the show at the Royal Albert Hall had quite the fan moment with our director outside the hotel in London,” read the tweet from Baahubali Twitter handle.
 
Years after its release, Baahubali is still making India proud.
