Soldiers' mutilation: Outraged India summons Pakistan envoy; 'actionable evidence' provided to Abdul Basit
New Delhi: India on Wednesday summoned Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit and requested activity against Pakistani soldiers in charge of killing and mutilation of two Indian soldiers on Monday.
Tending to a question and answer session Official Spokesperson, Ministry of External Affairs, Gopal Baglay advised the media about what unfolded between Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar and Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit.
Jaishankar passed on India's shock at the murdering and the "savage demonstration" of mutilation of the two collections of two Indian soldiers on May 01, 2017 by Pakistani Army staff, the MEA said.
