Presidential election: Amit Shah Announces Bihar Governor Ram Nath Kovind is NDA's presidential candidate
New Delhi: Bihar Governor Ramnath Kovind has been chosen as NDA's presidential candidate , Amit Shah reported on Monday.
An official conclusion on the presidential's chosen one was taken today at the BJP Parliamentary Board meeting, which was gone to by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Shah, including Union Ministers Sushma Swaraj, Rajnath Singh, Ananth Kumar, M Venkaiah Naidu and a few top pioneers.
BJP's Parliamentary Board is the gathering's most astounding basic leadership body.
While tending to a question and answer session in the national capital, Shah reported the choice.
Shah said there has been no exchange yet on names for the VP post.
The BJP boss said political gatherings had been educated of the NDA's decision. "I trust all will consent to the name," he said at a question and answer session.
About Ram Nath Kovind
