Anything For Love! Gangster And Female Cop Who Met On Court Dates Get Married
Friday, August 9, 2019 IST
There are love stories and there is this unique story. Both these lovers met at a the lockup standing on either side of it. A gangster Rahul Thasrana married cop Payal recently. Thasrana (30) was arrested after getting convicted of murdering trader Manmohan Goyal on May 9, 2014. Thasrana was also accused of several loot and murder cases, a news report in the Times of India said.
Both Payal and Thasrana met in Surajpur district of Chhattisgarh where she was posted. According to sources as quoted by the Times of India, Payal had stayed in touch with Thasrana even after he continued to stay in and out of jail.
Photos of them performing wedding rituals began circulating on social media and caught everyone's attention. The pictures were apparently shared by groom Thasrana with his friends in Dankaur town in Uttar Pradesh.
What is baffling is the fact that police officials at Gautam Budh Nagar police station, where she was posted, are clueless about her whereabouts and her place of posting. SP (rural) Ranvijay Singh reiterated that they are verifying where the woman is posted and appropriate action will be taken against her.
Thasrana, on the other hand, is a dreaded criminal and part of Anil Dujana gang. He started to commit crimes in 2008.
