Salman Khan is not a fitness inspiration for nothing. The actor who has inspired other actors such as Hrithik Roshan, Arjun Kapoor and many others has now accepted Union minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore’s fitness challenge. A late entrant to the fitness challenge which was earlier taken by celebs such as Deepika Padukone, Virat Kohli, Tiger Shroff and many others, Salman sure raised it to a different level.
On Saturday, Salman shared a video of him working out in the gym and wrote, “Fabulous campaign by sports minister #RajyavardhanRathore on #HumFitTohIndiaFit. I accept #FitnessChallenge of #KirenRijiju. Here is my video ...” After watching Salman’s fitness challenge video, the minister responded on Saturday, “Great @BeingSalmanKhan bhai. You inspire millions to stay fit & healthy. Thanks for accepting my challenge. #HumFitTohIndiaFit .”
Salman, known to be the pioneer of ripped body in Bollywood, can be seen working out shirtless and it is not hard to see that in an industry which believes six-pack abs are a star must-have, he still stands alone. The 52-year-old has the best biceps in business and can be seen doing rigorous shoulder workout in the video. He alternates it with cycling, something of a passion with Salman.
Salman was challenged to Hum Fit To India Fit challenge in May by Kiren Rijiju. “Fabulous campaign by Sports Minister @Ra_THORe on #HumFitTohIndiaFit I accept #FitnessChallenge of @jayantsinha Here’s my video & I challenge SMART CM @PemaKhanduBJP SUPERSTAR ACTOR @BeingSalmanKhan SUPERFIT ACTOR @saumyatandon,” he had written back in May.
A bevy of celebs, among others, had participated in the fitness challenge in May and June including Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. Salman, it seems, decided to do it in his own time.
The actor is in Malta at present for the second schedule of upcoming film Bharat. The first schedule of the movie was wrapped up in Mumbai.
Salman took to his Instagram account to announce the beginning of the second schedule and wrote,”Starting the shooting schedule of #Bharat in Malta, lovely country .” This movie is Ali Abbas Zafar’s third collaboration with Salman after the 2016 film Sultan and the recent Tiger Zinda Hai.
After Priyanka Chopra walked out of the film, Katrina Kaif was roped in to play the lead opposite the Dabangg star. Bharat also stars Tabu and Disha Patani in pivotal roles. The film will feature Salman sporting five different looks spanning 60 years, wherein a crucial part will showcase the actor in his late 20s, looking much leaner and younger. Salman will be recreating his Karan-Arjun look which had created immense excitement among the audience.
