The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) released the scanned images of OMR answer sheets with the recorded responses and answer keys for the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC NET 2017) on cbsenet.nic.in today, that is December 12. To check, click here.
Candidates can now challenge the recorded responses if they differ from the ones they had marked on the OMR sheet. Their objections can however be made only through the website between December 12 and 18 after payment of a fee of Rs 1,000 per recorded response via debit or credit cards. Candidates can also challenge the answer key through the website, by clicking on https://cbsenet.nic.in/cbsenet/KeyChallange/login.aspx .
The OMR sheet and answer keys can be downloaded from the CBSE UGC NET official website.
The CBSE conducts the UGC NET exam on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of assistant professor in Indian universities and colleges or for both junior research fellowships and assistant professors.
Here’s how you can download the UGC NET Nov 2017 OMR sheet and answer key
1. Go to CBSE UGC NET official website by clicking on www.cbsenet.nic.in
2. Check for the link ‘Login for answer key and recorded response challenge - NET November 2017’ at the bottom of the page
3.Login using registration or roll number and password
4. The OMR sheet/answer keys should appear on screen
Results of the UGC NET exams are expected in January 2018.
Instructions on the UGC NET website read:
“UGC NET Examination in all the cities was conducted on 5, November 2017. So the question papers and answer keys of both the examinations have been displayed and the candidates have to verify the answer keys according to the date of examination in which they have appeared.”
The candidates were advised to take print of image of OMR sheets, recorded responses, answer keys and challenges submitted by them for future reference.
Refund of fee paid by the candidates for challenge of answer keys / recorded response (If, accepted by CBSE) will be credited to the credit/debit card directly through which the transaction has been done by the candidate. The candidates thus were instructed to make the payment through their own credit/debit card.
