Cupid Cakes Recipe

Ingredients:

1.10 oz frozen Strawberries (thawed)
2.1 tblsp Sugar (powdered)
3.2 frozen (10-3/4 oz each) All-Butter Pound Cakes (thawed)
4.1/2 cup Whipping Cream (whipped)
5.1/2 cup Strawberry or Seedless Raspberry Preserves

How to make cupid cakes:

1.Drain strawberries and reserve 1 tblsp juice.
2.Combine strawberries, powdered sugar, reserved juice with whipped cream and set it aside.
3.Reduce each cake into 12 slices.
4.Spread 12 slices with about 1/2 tsp preserves each.
5.Top it with remaining slices to make sandwiches.
6.Press lightly to spread preserves to edges.
7.Pull excess preserves from edges.
8.Decorate onto serving plate.
Top with whipped cream mixture.
