New Delhi: Delhi may not have the best of reputations after dark but when it comes to food, the capital offers great food joints to night owls to fulfil their late evening food cravings.
 
It is not just the basic food like maggie, tea, garlic bread or sandwiches you will get but Delhi's late night food also offers you cuisines from different areas. Options running from south Indian dosa's, Chinese food to typical north Indian dal makhani, butter chicken and a wide range of paranthas are available to fill your stomach according to your mood.

Here are some places you can visit with your buddies or family if you want to experiment best late night food places which you can offer to your hungry souls.
 
Penta Cafe Xpress- A food joint which shuts off for 2 hours (1am- 3am) only, shares its wall with the Pentamed hospital, Model Town 1. One can find a great blend of food such as - almost 20 kinds of maggi and pastas, garlic bread, coffee and shakes at affordable price.
 
Comesum- It is a 24/7 open family restaurant located at Nizamuddin railway station which offers you decent meals throughout the whole day. It is one stop where you can find food of different states. Approximate price range of food lies between Rs100- Rs250.
 
Moolchand Paranthe Walla- A 24 hours open place near Lajpat Nagar, famous for a wide range of paranthas with chai (tea). The aroma of this place makes you feel hungry and drive you towards it to fill your stomach.
 
Railway Yard- A place which offers you proper sitting at late hours is located at Gujranwala Town. Timings of the place is from 7pm to 4am and it offers North Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines.
 
Patel Chest Tea Stall- A sure shot place to take care of your hunger. Situated in Patel Chest, North Campus, it is one stop for nearby paying guest (pg) people. The place treats you with eggs, maggi and chai (tea).It is open till 5 am in the morning.
 
 

 
 

Mahesh, manager of Penta Cafe said, “the cafe is open most of the time and for the two hours when it closes down we prepare food and bring the stuff (vegetables, cheese). People love to come here at late hours to have maggis, shakes and pastas mostly."
 
Gaurav, a student, who loves to hangout at night with his friends said, "Railway Yard and Penta Cafe are prime locations where one can find me. Among them Railway Yard is my favourite as it offers a great variety of food. Also, here we can play games like ludo and UNO."
 
"I am a Comesum lover. I often go to that place in night to eat south Indian food and chole rice. Whenever i go to that place I feel that I have become a 'bhukkad'. I wish to eat many things and then i pick 2-3 dishes I crave the most at that time," said Aniket Garg, MBA student.
 
Harshit Sapra, another student, said, "for me food is life and beyond (FLAB). I love to eat therefore I don't have one particular place which I like to go in late night but there are many. I like rajma rice of Shivaji Stadium, parantha's of Moolchand, chicken of Al Jawahar, Jama Masjid, and Chai of Patel Chest. So, according to my mood I go to the place where I wish to eat."
