It is no secret that Deepika Padukone was dating Ranbir Kapoor, who broke up with her (amidst speculations of cheating) and subsequently broke her heart. Padukone was so disturbed by all of it that she appeared on Koffee with Karan and bashed Kapoor, along with Sonam Kapoor. The comments ranged from calling him a cheater to saying he should endorse condoms. She even told a publication, "I was foolish enough to give him a second chance because he begged and pleaded, despite the fact that everyone around me said he was still straying. Then I actually caught him red-handed. It took me a while to get out. But having done that, nothing can make me go back. That ship has sailed."

But fortunately, she came out of it. The gloom, disappointment and heartbreak. Deepika found her happily ever after with Ranveer Singh during the shooting of Ram Leela, and managed to even have a friendly relationship with Kapoor. The couple had a picturesque wedding last year and today, Padukone truly looks like she found her man.

Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor dated for years, and their break up came as a shock to everyone, because it happened right in the middle of the shooting of 'Jab We Met'. Shahid went to say this about working with Kareena, "The politically correct answer would be 'yes of course if a film comes our way we will do it', but it will be very difficult. However, as an actor I'm a professional and if I'm asked as a professional decision on this, I would say that if my director believes that she is the best person to cast in the film, I would not tell them not to."
Shahid meant what he said because it was he who suggested Kareena's name for Udta Punjab. The two went on to meet the loves of their lives, with Kareena marrying Saif Ali Khan and Shahid marrying Mira Rajput. And honestly, he looks super happy now!
Aishwarya Rai

Easily considered one of the most beautiful women in the world, Aishwarya Rai didn't have it easy with love. She had a high profile relationship with Salman Khan that according to her was abusive. The relationship started on a great note, but Salman Khan's temper got in the way. The actor later said in an interview that Rai wasn't returning his love, and that he was forced to turn violent. Soon after the break-up, Aishwarya started dating Vivek Oberoi but that didn't work out either.
Aishwarya soon found love in Abhishek Bachchan. They got married in a lavish ceremony and have a daughter together.

Abhishek Bachchan was engaged to Karishma Kapoor after meeting and falling in love at the wedding of his sister. Their marriage would have been the biggest Bollywood union, with two Bollywood families coming together. But they called it off, surprising the film industry and their fans. There are rumours that Karishma's mother Babita was against the match. Or that Jaya Bachchan was against the match. Whatever be the actual reason, Abhishek did eventually find forever-wala love with Aishwarya Rai.
Bipasha Basu

How can this list not have Bipasha Basu? Basu was in a highly-publicised long term relationship with John Abraham that lasted almost a decade. But Basu was left shattered when Abraham broke up with her. While Bipasha told The Times Of India that their split was "definitely not amicable", John said on a chat show that it was "very, very amicable" and that "there was nothing ugly" about it. Bipasha also said that she gave her hundred per cent to the relationship, and went the extra mile for love. Not only did she give up her social life, but also lost out on films, if she is to be believed. "I am to blame for what happened to me. I allowed a lot. Anyone who pulls you down in your life, should not be in your life," she told The Times Of India.
