Taapsee Pannu refused to work with Nawazuddin Siddiqui? He denies being approached for film

Both Taapsee Pannu and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have denied rumours that she refused a film because she did not want to be paired with him.

Recently, a report claimed Taapsee Pannu had refused a thriller with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and the Gangs of Wasseypur star has now denied being offered any thriller.
A DNA report claimed Honey Trehan had approached Nawaz and Taapsee for a thriller and she refused to work with him. “Honey and Taapsee were in talks for the murder mystery, but the actress didn’t like the project. Apparently, she wasn’t too keen on being paired with Nawaz in the film, hence she refused the offer,” it quoted a source as saying.
Refuting the rumours, Nawazuddin took to Twitter late Monday and wrote, “An actress claimed to not be doing a thriller film with me. Would like to clarify that in the first place, I was never a part of any thriller film. So basically it’s all baseless.”
Taapsee had already refused having denied any such film. “There are many projects that come an actor’s way and one cannot say yes to all of them. Reasons of saying no vary all the time, but for me, it has never been on the pretext of not wanting to work with ‘a particular actor’ ever! I would never do that,” she had told Hindustan Times.
While Taapsee is currently working with Anurag Kashyap on his film Manmarziyaan opposite Abhishek Bachchan, Nawazuddin is working on Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray’s biopic and awaits the release of Nandita Das’ Manto.
