CBSE Class 10 result announced, here’s direct link to check

CBSE 10th result: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results of Class 10 board examinations on Tuesday.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) declared the results of Class 10 board examinations on Tuesday.

Students can check their scores on the official websites of the board: www.cbseresults.nic.in, www.cbse.nic.in and www.results.nic.in. They must keep their roll number, school number and date of birth handy before the results are declared.

The board’s website, however, usually slows down as a large number of students check the results at the same point adding to their stress. It has partnered with several organisations to ease the process of viewing the results.

Students can also check CBSE 10th result 2018 on Google and Microsoft’s search engine Bing this year.

“CBSE has partnered with Google for the first time to host the board’s Class 10 and Class 12 results on the search engine,” the board’s spokesperson Rama Sharma told the Hindustan Times recently.

Students will have to search for CBSE Class 10 result on Google and key in the required details to log in.

Results can also be accessed SMS Organizer mobile application, which can be installed from Google Play store https://aka.ms/sms.

Students can check their scores through the interactive voice response system as well as the SMS facility of the National Informatics Centre. They can call on 24300699 by adding their dial codes for their areas. For example, a student calling from Delhi will have to dial 011-24300699.

The CBSE 10th result 2018 can be received by sending an SMS to 7738299899 in the following format: cbse10 <rollno> <dob> <sch no> <center no>. The date of birth format is ddmmyyyy.

Students can also view their results on UMANG mobile application available for Android, iOS and Windows-based smartphones.

The board will also provide Class 10 digital mark sheets in DigiLocker at https://digilocker.gov.in. The DigiLocker account credentials will be sent to students through a text message on their mobile number registered with the board. DigiLocker can be accessed on both Android and iOS platforms.

Schools under the board’s Delhi region can collect their results from the office of the respective zonal office of deputy director of education after they are declared by confirming a time with them.

They will automatically get their results on the email id’s registered with the board.

Neary16,38,420 candidates registered for the Class 10 exam conducted at 4,453 centres across India and 78 centres abroad this year.

The board declared the Class 12 results last week.

What students across India said ahead of CBSE Class 10 result:

Meanwhile, thousands of anxious and excited students across the country are waiting for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to declare the results of the Class 10 board examination on Tuesday.

Students of Lucknow’s GD Goenka Public School said they have been praying for the best possible results after a stressful wait. They were also a bit nervous as the board has done away with home examination and decided to award marks instead of a cumulative grade point average (CGPA).

The board examination in Class 10 was reintroduced this year after a gap. Students said they were scared initially but the exams were fine.

“Its biggest advantage is that it gives us a headstart for Class 12 board examinations,” Jiya Serna, who wants to be a lawyer, said.

Mayuri Bhardwaal said the language papers were easy but science and maths were tough. She added that there was nothing they had not been taught in the answer papers.

“There is a lot of excitement about the percentage. This the first time CBSE students of Class 10 will be getting a percentage,” she added.

Anuj Dalvi, a student of DAV School in Navi Mumbai’s Nerul, said he was looking forward to the results.

“The fact that we didn’t have to sit for a re-examination was a huge relief for all of us. There is some anxiety still, but I want to get done with the results and then focus on my integrated coaching classes,” Dalvi said.

Jeremiah Sequeira, a student of another Navi Mumbai school, said her school has invited all students to check the results together.

“Since all of us are stressed about our scores, our school administration has decided to open the computer labs for us tomorrow so we don’t end up feeling stressed at the time of checking results,” Sequeira added.

Sanjh Maheshwari, a Class 10 student in Indore said, “I am excited about my result as I did well in the exam.” Another student Kshitij G Saha said, “After the announcement that the result will be declared on Tuesday, my parents have been trying to reduce the pressure on me by discussing many things.”
